Jones Valley Teaching Farm describes eight teaching farms and eight hydroponic classrooms. These are separate learning settings, not sixteen outdoor farms. The downtown campus occupies three acres. Its Good School Food approach connects hands-on food education with school learning and opportunities for young people.

What to learn here.
This model shows why a teaching farm needs a learning sequence, not just an attractive garden. Trace an activity from observation to growing, preparation and a learner’s explanation of what happened. For a school or community operator, staffing and repeat access matter as much as bed count.
Your first useful step
Follow the official tour and site information to choose a suitable public or school pathway. Prepare a question with the guided discoveries, and confirm which campus can receive your group.
Read before you act.
A school-linked teaching farm is not automatically open to casual visitors. The downtown acreage describes one campus, while farm and hydroponic-classroom counts describe the wider program.
